Meridians are energetic pathways that run through connective tissue in our bodies, just below the surface of the skin. Acupressure points are access points that can help with relieving stress and moving stagnation along a meridian. Through movement and awareness, by practicing asana and acupressure, we can shift towards internal consciousness and change our relationship to our stress. In this workshop, you will be guided through a yoga sequence that will target a specific meridian pairing and learn key acupressure points to practice on each other. Our focus will be on the side body pathway that affects the hips and general body tension.
This is an open class where you are free to modify according to your condition. Please be prepared to work with each other, wear comfortable clothing and trim your fingernails.
