Yoga and Ayurveda: Balancing Vata for the Seasonal Transition
In this class, we’ll explore Ayurveda, an ancient wellness system from India that focuses on keeping balance in the body and mind. We’ll focus on a type of energy called Vata, which is connected to air and movement in the body. During seasonal changes, Vata can become imbalanced, making us feel restless, dry, or ungrounded.
Through a gentle yoga practice, calming breathwork, and grounding poses, we’ll aim to help you feel more stable, relaxed, and in tune with the transitions of this time of year. We’ll also introduce the basics of Ayurveda so you can learn how to apply these principles to your daily life.
This class is designed for everyone, with no prior knowledge required. Come and enjoy a full wellness experience! It is being offered one time at no cost, and we hope to hear your feedback.
