Winter Meridian Reset: Cupping, Breathwork, and Myofascial Release

  • YUG Wellness 3801 23rd Avenue Astoria, NY, 11105 United States (map)

Winter invites us to slow down, turn inward, and tend to our deepest reserves. This workshop is a warm, grounding experience designed to support the Kidney and Bladder meridians, the energetic pathways associated with vitality, resilience, rest, and steadiness through the colder months.

Treena and Verónica will guide you through an accessible blend of breathwork, myofascial release, yin, and cupping to support both the physical body and the nervous system.

What to expect

• Breathwork to calm the nervous system, support deep rest, and help the body feel safe enough to let go
• Myofascial release using acupressure points, sometimes called Myoyin, combining yin holds with gentle pressure to release long held tension in the back body, hips, legs, and spine
• Meridian focused movement to nourish the Kidney and Bladder channels, supporting vitality, grounding, and emotional balance
• Cupping therapy to improve circulation, release stagnation, and help the body feel warmer and more open during winter

Each participant will receive their own pinky ball to use during the workshop and take home, giving you simple tools you can return to anytime for self-care and stress relief.

What is cupping?

Cupping is an ancient therapeutic practice where cups are placed on the skin to create gentle suction. This helps increase circulation, release tight tissue, and support healthy energy flow along the meridians. Cupping can leave circular marks that look like bruises. These marks are not painful and typically fade within a few days to a week. Participation is always optional.
