Have you ever felt disconnected from your own body? Does sexuality seem elusive or too taboo to be discussed and embraced? Join Jodi Epstein and Katie Jennings for a women’s workshop that combines movement and breathing to connect with the pelvic floor, and discussion to explore female sexuality.
In this Workshop we will:
Discover stretches and relaxation techniques that help create a pelvic floor connection.
Explore spinal and hip movements to deepen body awareness and release tension.
Learn about how the brain registers desire and arousal in a way that acknowledges our unique experiences and reduces shame.
Engage in self-reflection exercises to help maximize sexual well-being, learning about what turns us on, what turns us off, and why the body might not always respond as expected in both scenarios.
Each component of this workshop involves contemplative and mindfulness exercises. It is through these practices that we can find more confidence and comfort with our bodies and sexuality.
*Within this workshop we will be talking about sexual desire, arousal, and pleasure through an educational lens. This is not meant to be therapy or a coaching session, rather it is information sharing that offers opportunities for self-reflection. Please bring a notepad or journal and a pen.
** If you have questions about this workshop or are unsure if it's for you, feel free to email Jodi at practicewithjodi@gmail.com
