Release what winter left behind and create space for spring.
Spring is the season of movement, growth, and clearing stagnation in the body. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Liver and Gallbladder meridians are associated with this season. The meridians run along the sides of the body, influencing flexibility, circulation of energy, and our ability to move forward with clarity and direction.
After winter’s slower rhythm, the body often holds tension through the hips, outer legs, ribs, and shoulders. This workshop is designed to help gently release that stored tension and support the body’s natural shift into the energy of spring.
Treena and Verónica will guide you through an accessible blend of breathwork, myofascial release, yin, and cupping to support both the physical body and the nervous system.
What to expect
• Breathwork to calm the nervous system, support deep rest, and help the body feel safe enough to let go
• Myofascial release using acupressure points, sometimes called Myoyin, combining yin holds with gentle pressure to release long held tension in the back body, hips, legs, and spine
• Meridian focused movement to nourish the Liver and Gall Bladder channels, supporting vitality, grounding, and emotional balance
• Cupping therapy to improve circulation, release stagnation, and help the body lighter and more open
Benefits:
Nervous system regulation
Deep tension release through fascia and connective tissue
Support for the Liver and Gallbladder meridians
Increased mobility through the hips, ribs, and shoulders
A clearer, lighter feeling as the body transitions into spring
Each participant will receive their own pinky ball to use during the workshop and take home, giving you simple tools you can return to anytime for self-care and stress relief.
What is cupping?
Cupping is an ancient therapeutic practice where cups are placed on the skin to create gentle suction. This helps increase circulation, release tight tissue, and support healthy energy flow along the meridians. Cupping can leave circular marks that look like bruises. These marks are not painful and typically fade within a few days to a week. Participation is always optional.
